What
does NHEA mean?
National
Home Education Academy
Historic
Overview:
The concept of hosting home schools was first implemented
with ACE in South Africa in 1996.There were not many home schools
in those days and the support to them was initially on a more informal
basis. Within a year or two it grew into a full fledged academy.
At present the National Home Education Academy hosts
190 home schools locally and abroad incorporating over 300 students.
We are grateful to God for His faithfulness and grace shown towards
parents, students and staff alike over the past decade.
Many of our graduates are studying at, or have graduated
from tertiary institutions, some with outstanding achievements.
The National Home
Education Academy is one of 12 academies operating in South Africa.
Vision:
The National Home
Education Academy wants to activate and empower its partners in
Education in Southern Africa and abroad to home school their children
in excellence using the Accelerated Christian Education program.
Mission:
The National Home
Education Academy will strive to establish and maintain a well structured,
effective service to our home school partners. This will be done
by effective daily management, planning and utilizing of human resources
and curriculum material.
GOING
ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT IS EXPECTED!
